Charlotte Åvall

Head of HR

Sometimes, a career takes an unexpected turn. For Charlotte, a career in HR began somewhat by chance. While interviewing for a position at another company that had hired Manpower to handle the recruitment, she was instead asked if she would like to join Manpower internally and work with HR and recruitment. That opportunity marked the beginning of 15 years as a recruitment consultant.

Her passion for people, business development, organizational growth, and talent development has been a consistent thread throughout her career. Over time, these interests have evolved into a strong commitment to HR as a way of creating value for both individuals and the business.

Today, she appreciates the people and the positive, down-to-earth and solution-oriented spirit at Firefly. For her, what makes the company a great place to work is the strong commitment among colleagues and the genuine willingness to work together to find the best solutions.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, playing golf and going for a run. When it comes to choosing between city life and nature, she prefers not to choose at all. Both have their charm.

""

If she had to describe Firefly in three words, they would be engaged, down-to-earth and positive. And there is one fun fact her colleagues might not know, wherever she has lived in the world, her first job has always come about thanks to the fact that she speaks Danish.

And when it comes to coffee or tea? Coffee, of course.
