Per Forsberg
Quality Manager
I had the opportunity to collaborate with Firefly before officially joining, and I quickly came to appreciate the leadership and the openness to challenge old norms — something I’m quite good at! Since joining, I’ve never once regretted my decision.
The no-prestige management approach, combined with Firefly’s technology-driven, solution-oriented mindset, resonates deeply with my personal values. The mission to keep our customers’ sites running smoothly with minimal disruption from fire incidents is a cause I’m proud to support.
What stands out most to me is the passion people here have for their work and for Firefly. With that passion comes a lot of emotion, so we sometimes have disagreements, but it always remains professional. Outside of work, we enjoy coming together to have fun and strengthen our bonds, all while continuing to pursue our shared passion in our different roles.
One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is that every time we prevent a fire, we significantly reduce pollution and help businesses stay operational, which ultimately benefits society. It’s far more productive to prevent a fire than to extinguish one.
At Firefly, environmental consciousness is embedded in everything we do — from product development to our processes and our overall way of working. But the greatest contribution we make to the environment and society is preventing fires from happening in the first place.
There’s a strong formal collaboration between all functions at Firefly, but just as important are the informal interactions that take place during coffee and lunch breaks. These moments allow us to connect on both business and personal levels, creating a supportive atmosphere where contributions come from all corners of the company. And let’s just say, the Swedish ‘fika’ works wonders for building those relationships!
