Firefly doesn’t just save lives with our fire preventing and protecting systems. Last week our Stockholm office participated in a CPR course at our office to learn more about how we can save lives in case a person goes into a cardiac arrest or cannot breathe.
A very important and useful course, where all the employees were educated in how to identify cardiac arrest and how to perform CPR. We also got to practice how to use a defibrillator in combination with CPR based on how it might be in a real situation.
The course also included training on how to manage an acute suffocation and how to perform the Hainlich manoeuvre.
Firefly is now on a proud owner of a defibrillator that is installed in the head office in Hammarby Sjöstad, ready to use.
By learning this knowledge and being able to practice it, we can save lives.
