Before joining Firefly, I worked in wastewater treatment. During that time, a colleague from Firefly joined my company briefly before returning to Firefly. He reached out to me one day and suggested that I consider the Technical Project Leader (TPL) role at Firefly. I decided to take his advice, and it turned out to be a great decision. I spent 2.5 years as a TPL before transitioning to my current role as an Area Sales Manager (ASM), where I now oversee the markets in Türkiye and Japan. The journey so far has been incredibly rewarding.

Having worked for other Swedish companies, I truly appreciate the short decision-making processes at Firefly. This agility is especially beneficial when working with the Asian market, where quick response times are crucial. Additionally, the employee benefits here surpass those I’ve had in previous roles.

Given the amount of travel my role requires, careful planning and a supportive, flexible family are essential, especially when a business trip arises on short notice. The freedom and responsibility that come with this role suit me perfectly.

Opportunities for cross-functional collaboration have been plentiful at Firefly. Collaboration across the company is highly valued, and I’ve had the privilege of working closely with various teams, particularly the Risk Management Team (RMT). On significant projects like Hayat, we’ve joined forces to identify and implement the best solutions for our clients. In fact, every time the RMT has partnered with me on-site, we’ve successfully secured the orders. This teamwork has not only been instrumental in achieving our goals but has also enhanced my understanding of different aspects of the business.
